The stretching rice fields, lazy backwaters and strong history of this cultural region bring guests from far and wide, and this 4-day tour in an around Saigon can cater for all those experiences and more. For 3 nights on this southern Vietnam tour, we base ourselves in metropolitan Saigon, Vietnam’s most modern city and the site of much of its recent wartime history. We uncover this on a city tour and a look around the Cu Chi Tunnels – one of the outstanding relics of the Vietnam War. After this, we head to the south to find a world of natural beauty, evocative agriculture and charming crafts in the Mekong Delta. We walk, cycle and cruise around this luxuriant land before returning once again to the lively hub of southern Vietnam.
